About Lotto Plus 1
Lotto Plus 1 is an add-on to Lotto. Your Lotto numbers are entered into a second draw held straight after the main Lotto draw on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with its own winning numbers, Bonus Ball and jackpot.
Nobody matched every number in the Wednesday 21 October draw, so the R7,500,000.00 jackpot rolls over to the next draw.
How Lotto Plus 1 works
- You can only play Lotto Plus 1 together with Lotto, using the same boards.
- Six numbers and a Bonus Ball are drawn from 1 to 52, exactly like the main Lotto draw.
- Prize divisions are the same as Lotto, but the prize pool is separate and usually smaller.
- Your ticket shows whether Lotto Plus 1 was included. If it was not, these numbers do not apply to you.

Lotto Plus 1 is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday. The operator lists 21:00 SAST as the draw time. Winning numbers usually appear on LottoFun between 21:15 and 21:45, and the prize payouts follow once they are published. Ticket sales close shortly before the draw.

Can my ticket win both Lotto and Lotto Plus 1?
Yes. They are separate draws, so the same board can win in either one, in both, or in neither.
Does the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot roll over?
Yes. When nobody matches all six numbers, the Division 1 jackpot rolls over to the next Lotto Plus 1 draw.
How long do I have to claim a prize?
Prizes must be claimed within 365 days of the draw. Small prizes are usually paid at the shop where you played; larger prizes go through the operator’s claim process or your bank if you played in a banking app.
