This page explains how LottoFun collects, checks, publishes and corrects lottery results and articles.
Sources
- UK 49s: results are read from the operator’s official results service, including the exact time of each draw.
- South African National Lottery games: results are collected from two independent results publishers, National-Lottery.com and the BetTip draws archive. Prize breakdowns and official draw numbers are added when they are published.
Each result page lists the sources used and the time the result was last updated on LottoFun. Neither publisher is the lottery operator, so you should always confirm a result with the official operator.
How results are checked
Before a result is published, our software checks that it has the correct number of balls, that every number is within the range the game used on that date, that there are no duplicates and that the draw date and time make sense. When both South African sources report the same draw, their numbers must match. If they disagree, the result is not published automatically; it is held until we have confirmed it against the operator’s result.
Speed and missing information
Our system checks for new results every few minutes after each scheduled draw. Winning numbers usually appear within about half an hour of the draw, and prize tables can follow later. If a result is not yet available, the page says so; we never show estimated or random numbers as results.
Corrections
If a confirmed error is found, we correct the result and keep a record of the earlier version. To report a possible error, email YOUR-EMAIL with the page link, the draw date and a source. Every report is checked; a report alone does not change a result.
Guides and statistics
Guides are based on the operators’ published rules and are updated when rules change. Odds are calculated exactly from the number of possible combinations. Hot and cold numbers describe past draws only and are not predictions.
Independence and advertising
LottoFun is independent of every lottery operator and bookmaker. Advertisements are clearly labelled, and no advertiser can influence results, prize figures or corrections.
