A few things worth knowing

All South African National Lottery games are drawn at about 21:00 SAST: Daily Lotto every evening, Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and PowerBall and PowerBall Xtra on Tuesdays and Fridays. LottoFun publishes the numbers as soon as they are released, usually within half an hour, and adds the prize breakdown when it becomes available.
What are the UK 49s draw times in South Africa?
There are four draws a day. During UK summer time Brunchtime is at 12:49, Lunchtime at 13:49, Drivetime at 17:49 and Teatime at 18:49 SAST. In UK winter each draw is one hour later in South Africa. See the full timetable.
Where do LottoFun results come from?
UK 49s results come directly from the operator’s results service. South African results are collected from two independent results publishers and must match before they are shown. Every result page lists its sources and the time it was updated.
Can LottoFun confirm a winning ticket?
No. The ticket checker compares your numbers with a published result, but only the lottery operator can validate a ticket and pay a prize. National Lottery prizes must be claimed within 365 days of the draw. Bookmaker bets on UK 49s follow the bookmaker’s own rules.
