Where to buy South African lottery tickets

Today · Saturday, 24 October 2026

Official South African National Lottery tickets are sold through registered retail outlets and the lottery services built into participating banks’ apps and online banking.

Retail outlets

Lottery terminals are found at many supermarkets, convenience stores and petrol stations. Check the printed ticket before you leave: the game, the draw date, the add-ons you paid for and the total price should all be correct.

Banking apps

Several banks, including Nedbank, offer lottery entry in their app, online banking or cellphone banking. Your entry confirmation is your record, and winnings are usually paid into your account. Availability and limits depend on your bank.

Bookmaker bets are different

A bet on the outcome of a lottery draw with a bookmaker is not a National Lottery ticket. It pays according to the bookmaker’s odds and rules, not the official prize divisions.

LottoFun does not sell tickets or accept bets.
